I own this on dvd in the UltimateClassic Sci-fi Collection along with The Land Unknown and many other Universal 50's Sci-F classics. Love 1950's Sci-FI

The best scene is when the mad scientist turn around and you look into his distorted face- strangely enough humans do not grow to giants when infected with that stuff like the animals or insects, they just become elephant man.

in australia, people look at that and say "is that all?"

very nice effects :D

This was probably the first 50's horror movie I've ever seen. I still remember the music and everything.

A personal favorite. It comes on TCM (Turner Classic Movies) once or twice (literally) a year and I always watch it. For a while I thought I was the only person on Earth who liked this movie. YouTube proved me wrong. Tarantula SERIOUSLY needs a decent $9.99-ish DVD release. (Ditto for Earth vs. The Spider) Am I alone in thinking this? Giant spider (or bug) movies rule.

Clint Eastwood saves the day? He was 25 or something.

Shoot it!
Oh my God. The 1950s creature features were the best. MODERN MOVIES AREN'T AS GOOD. (Old guy voice) Now back in mah day we didn't have them color TV's, magnificent special effects, the touchy screen phones...God bless. God bless.
