Video shows Uncemented total hip replacement done for a case of post traumatic arthritis. This patient had a previous acetabular fracture which required bone grafting to the back wall. Hip arthritis in young patients requires uncemented hip replacement. Metal on metal, ceramic on metal, ceramic on ceramic, ceramic or metal on poly are the combinations possible. This uncemented stem has a hydroxyapatite coating which allows bone ingrowth.
