I totally agree with spaceorbison's comment. With the billions of galaxies and star systems in the endless expanse of the universe, it indeed would not be only pure ignorance but idiotic presumptiousness to think that we are alone in the universe. What is more appalling is the stupidity that the people do not realize that one of the biggest causes of fear (and there sure is a lot especially where this issue is concerned) is ignorance. Fear is borne about by the absence of knowledge.
