@IsobelSturgeon That is Lester Young on sax. This take was featured on a Lester Young compilation. It wasn't released on 78 because it ran over (because of that long, lovely sax solo). Sorry, I don't remember the drummer and no longer have the vinyl.

a friend of mine Rosie used to tour with her.. a blessed woman, indeed...

yet.. this same awesome woman I have not talked to in over a year, I lost touch,

had her house burned down, daughter tricked her out of the prior house, and her other two children died within a few short years of each other..
