Naomi Wolf: "I Have a Lot of Respect for Ron Paul!"

On Nov. 7, 2007, author Naomi Wolf was in Baltimore, Maryland, to discuss her latest, and very timely, book, "The End of America: Letter of Warning to a Young Patriot." One of the topics that came up during her lively talk, and Q&A with the audience, was Ron Paul (R-TX). She praised his leadership for introducing a bill in the Congress called the "American Freedom Agenda of 2007." See, http://www.americanfreedomcampaign.org/ for details. Ms. Wolf said: "I have a lot of respect for Ron Paul...He says we don't need an Empire. Let's just have a Republic." The author underscored: "We need a Democracy Movement in America, like the Democracy Movement that brought down the 'Berlin Wall'" to take back our country from the forces that threaten our liberties. The spirited event was held at the Bolton Street Synagogue and was sponsored by Breathe Books, located in the Hamden area of Baltimore.
