Being a Great Fan of Genesis of all Ages I have to tell how disappointed I am out of the band, being In Venezuela we have bearly managed to see performing bands like Yes,Rick Wakeman,PFM,Camel,Ian Anderson and so the Greatest Steve Hacket, but nowdays Genesis even though being so ¨loaded¨ has simply overlooked at us... Real Shame! always wanted to see Tony Banks perform...

Luis creo que estoy deacuerdo contigo, los vi en Live earth y en los tributos MTV y creo que los veo cansados, a mi me encanta Genesis pues siempre tocaron mejor en vivo que en estudio, y ahora no lo siento asi, les falta energia, o algo asi... eso no impide que estare en la gira apoyandolos pues para mi son en este orden. @monomis That really annoys me: Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford appear to be rather ashamed of "Calling All Stations" and try to blank it out of their minds - I think Ray Wilson did a great job on that album. :)

Thank You! I know we are in the minority, but I totally agree with you about Hackett. He's a very good guitarist, but Daryl is much better. I think people don't like him because he isn't as wierd as Hackett, but wierd isn't always better. The Strumer-Hackett argument is a perfect example of that.

Their sound didn't fundamentally change until Abacab, several albums after Gabriel's and Hackett's departures.

I don't mean to criticise your opinion but I must respectfully disagree regarding the daryl better than Hackett. It takes a lot to play but it takes even more to actually create the original music. I'm not saying you have to like steve hackett, I just wanted to throw in a rebuff.

Genesis - Six Hours Live, 1972-1980. Genesis was a progressive band in the 70s. When Peter Gabriel & Steve Hackett left the sound changed to what you hear today. This 2-DVD set shows Genesis in concert during those creative years and it's a side of Genesis newer fans should get to know.
