Swimming The Atlantic - Lands End to New York

A short film documenting my experience preparing to swim The Atlantic Ocean from Lands End to New York and the start of my journey...

The brief in short was that we had to create a piece of work that expressed why we want to go to NY and the lengths we would be willing to go to to get there.

Responses could be any media and size which meant you could literally do anything.

However they suggested that we use famous New York icons like the statue of liberty, the street layout, pretzels, yellow taxis etc as our inspiration. I chose to make a film 'moc-umentary' based around the idea of me swimming the Atlantic Ocean to get to New York.

I put off all of my other projects to concentrate on this, 2 weeks of my life has been spent planning, filming, travelling and editing to create the final film.

Regardless of whether or not I get to go. I am so happy I made it and with how it turned out. All in all a lot of fun to make and thank you to everyone who helped me out filming or otherwise.
