A book is immoral and destructive when it advocates slavery and murder, and it becomes destructive when people take that book and use it as permission to do those things.

That's exactly what happened with the Bible.

Love your neighbor isn't immoral. I didn't realize the entire Bible just said "love your neighbor" over and over again. Amazing. How repetitive.

What can cause AIDS? What can destroy the minds of children? What can corrupt families? Explain yourself. What are you talking about?

Guess I was unclear. You are correct. Dan Cathy isn't King of America, so he can't personally deny gays equal rights. However, he does give millions to anti-gay organizations that demonize gays by spreading myths and lobby for laws that deny gays equal rights.

How is this for clear: Dan Cathy is not in favor of OTHERS giving gays equal rights, and he funds OTHERS to try to keep gays from getting equal rights. Sorry if my earlier post was to vague for you.

6) I didn't believe you because "destroys children and families" is vague. It means nothing to say that without explaining what you mean. Now you're saying you saw it first hand, yet that still doesn't explain what destroying means. You're just using the cop out "it's none of your business" to buy yourself some time.

4) Then clarify what you're talking about.

a) You said what you said. What you meant is in your own head. Next time type what you mean.

b) Prove it. And that still isn't an argument against homosexuality, since you're clearly ignoring 50% of the homosexual population.

c) You're taking stats and applying them to all gays, regardless if they fit or not. You think two gay women shouldn't be allowed to marry because of what some stats say about two gay MEN. It's deliberate nonsense.

You were the one who cited Mein Kampf as a source for your argument, and the moment I point out that it works against your argument, suddenly you want to abandon it. He mentions God throughout it. So again, by your logic, we must agree that God was the impetus for the holocaust.

I don't care what attachment he had to the church. He had no attachment to any science labs either, but you want to say evolution was the reason for the holocaust. You're a hypocrite.

2b) First of all, that passage doesn't give slaves the freedom to run away. It's telling you not to get involved in the situation when they do run away.

And it also says in Deuteronomy that you can beat your slaves as hard as you want as long as you don't kill them, put out an eye, or make them lose teeth. It says you can do that because they're your property. Now explain that. You talk like the Bible doesn't like masters mistreating their slaves, so why does it tell them they can beat them?

2) Oh now you meant enslave people for no reason? Ok, what's the reason given in the Bible to enslave someone? It tells you to enslave people of wicked nations? Where does it tell you to only enslave people of wicked nations? And how is the entire nation so wicked that you can enslave ANYONE from that nation, and they're guaranteed to be wicked enough to deserve slavery for life? Probably criminals? Prove it. You're making that up. And prisoners aren't allowed to be beaten.
