Unboxing the iPad iCade Arcade Cabinet by ION via ThinkGeek (compared to real arcade controls)

Unboxing porn! The iCade is a Bluetooth controller in a little arcade housing with a genuine arcade joystick and buttons.

Currently it only supports Atari's Greatest Hits but the SDK is available. Hopefully we'll see some Capcom or jailbroken emulators take advantage of it. MAME runs on it though! Check out MAME + iCade + iPad here:

@amiga2000 I got mine from Gamestop but I missed the first batch and had to wait 2 months. The box it came in is also much fancier than yours. I have the idea that yours is from the first batch and that they did some redisigning for the second batch.

Mine looks totally different. No wood print on the front panel and a different design side panels.

@michael1234252 Right. Although you'd be much better off running mame on the ipad w/ icade support. As soon as iOS 5 comes out w/ an untethered jailbreak, I'm so doing it.
