Well thanks for reminding me what it's called. I DO HAVE a well designed one that does not boil over. This one is not well designed. Pasta is supposed to be cooked in a lot of water to avoid stickiness.

You don't keep a eye on the stove while you;re cooking? Plus turn down the heat. I'am a guy and i know this.

That's called a PASTA pot. Used to cook pasta and then drain (all in one).

KEY here is you aren't supposed to use allot of water. (not very much at all) However with that said, I've never like these types of pots for this very reason (it boils over ever single time).
