Haha, I just read the news on his blog and his descriptions of "three little pigs." Well, maybe he should take my advice on having someone check his writing before he speaks or writes his blog. My god, he can't even write in his own language (English is my 2nd language btw), and he is in charge of Taiwan's education!?
Tu Cheng-sheng san might be better in Japanese. LY members called him the Japanese Minister of Education and a Japanese running-dog two years ago. (That was when TSU chairman went the Yasukuni shrine.)
I am trying but it is an online response anyway. Most people usually don't pay that much attention to their grammar. I am simply saying he can't speak in English, I bet he is very good at writing English because the way Taiwan teaches English. Also, it is not hard to hit the reply botton instead of the usual comment! :P Btw, I let my secretary fix my grammar before I send anything out in real life (however, I do can b.s. well in speaking English).
The problem of Taiwan education system is over-whelming demand on craming bunch of useless information for exams. The easiest way to solve at least half of this problem is to write the exam based on IQ test, so you can't cram it. And that's very bad English for someone who suppose to studied aboard, oh wait he only got master which meant he failed the doctoral school!
