Most of these people don't understand that 27 mhz use to be a Ham band, but we gave it up because its a worthless band, and trust me,WE CAN TALK A LOT FURTHER ON HAM. Some people think that HAM is only 2m, 220, and 70cm. Why don't yall check out the HF bands, where your aloud 1500 watts without getting in trouble and talk ALL OVER THE WORLD not just across North America. Some people are just to stupid.

actually for all the hams out there cb is good to have here in Idaho with the logging trucks up in the mountains to beware were they are and when power goes out alot of people use both cb and ham to communicate cause there is no phone service in a lot of areas
