shits loud as hell but can be done

are you planning to overclock? If so how much? I've seen the 920 overclocked to 3.8 on air which isn't that bad.

why didn't you use any extra thermal paste on the cpu i used arctic silver 5 with stock on my i7 950 and it idles at 40 to 55 C

That type of locking the heatsink to the board is just horrifying :O. I've installed that kind of cooler couple of times and always been afraid if i break the cooler's flimsy plastic feet or motherboard.
Aftermarket coolers are always better, but will of course cost extra money. But hey, quality products are bit expensive.

In my PC I used stock cooler till I got my watercooling, but I build this PC (the HAF922) for someone else therefore I used what he told me to use, but, personally, i would invest in a after market cooler
