Preparing for a Homebirth

These are a few of the things I plan on using during and after my homebirth. Keep in mind that every midwife & homebirth is different. I was lucky enough not to have to purchase much else because my midwife provides mostly everything. I forgot to mention my birth ball, which I will definitely be using. Thanks for watching!

Will you be purchasing a birthing bath or will you be using your own tub... If so is your bath a jet bath and if it is how do you plan on cleaning the jets in the bath? Sorry for all the questions. When I get pregnant I also want a home water birth.

yes, i already have a birthing ball that i've been using throughout my pregnancy & i absolutely love it! it helps so much with my lower back pain. I've purchased a birthing tub even though we already have a bath with jets because i feel like the bath is a little small for me.. BUT im just not sure where it will actually happen just yet. I will most definitely let you know though. & don't worry, i love questions (: ty

I am SO excited for you! I too am planning a home birth although mine will be a free birth as getting a midwife where I am is next to impossible. I was going to order my pool this week in fact as water birth is exactly what I wanted also. I hope it all goes well for you and I can't wait to hear what your experience was like!
