Nick's POV

"That's how it happened Nick." she told me.

I couldn't believe what she was telling me. I was with her this morning, happily in love. And now she had cheated on me!

"Nick, please say something." she begged, tears bursting from her innocent eyes.
"What is there to say?" I asked. "You cheated." I whispered, my eyes glazed over, tears pricking my eyes.
"I'm so sorry Nick. I never meant to hurt you." she sobbed.
"I thought you loved me Riley? You said you loved me!" I yelled, anger hitting me. "Did you ever love me?"I questioned.
"I still do Nick. I messed up, badly. I'm so sorry. Please forgive me." she pleaded.
"It's over Riley." I stated, instantly regretting it.
"Nick, please don't end this." she sobbed. "Don't leave me." she cried, falling to the floor, in pain.
"Don't cry Riley." I spat at her. "You caused this, now deal with it."

I walked towards Starbucks, searching for Kevin and Joe so we could get out of here.

"Hey bro!" Joe yelled, from a confined area in the corner. "Woah! You look rough." he stated.
"I found Riley." I said.
"I'm guessing this is bad news..." Joe said.
"You guessed right. She cheated on me." I said, my eyes burning with tears again.
"Cheated? With who?" Kevin asked.
"Carl!" I yelled.
"But she was with us a couple hours ago." Joe said. "That's impossible."
"It happened on the car ride over." I snapped. "That's how much I meant to her, she just forgot about me."
"Hey man, it's not like that." Kevin consoled. "I'm sure there's a good explanation for this."
"Like what?" I asked. "Her lips fell onto his! This is serious!" I wailed.
"Let's get out of here, we can talk this over on the plane ride back." Kevin stated.

We all rose from our seats and exited the cafe'.

"Speak of the devil." Joe muttered, pointing towards Riley and Carl, huddled together in a corner.

Urghh! She was flaunting him infront of me! How could she be over us that quickly! I thought we had something together, obviously I was wrong. I focused back on reality and noticed Kevin striding forward towards them both. Ohh no!

"Kevin! Wait up!" I yelled, lagging behind.

I found myself face to face with Carl and Riley.

"How could you man!" Kevin yelled, getting into Carl's face. "She's a kid! Find somebody your own age!"
"Why don't you mind your own business." Carl said, relaxed.
"Why don't you make me?" Kevin taunted.
"Guys! Stop!" Riley yelled.

We all stared at her, capturing our attention.

"Are you gonna explain yourself?" Joe asked her.
"What is there to explain?" she said meekly. "I screwed up. I don't deserve Nick and I never will. But I'll always love him." she whispered, a tear rolling down her cheek.
"Riley..." Kevin sighed. "This guy is way too old for you, trust me. Your making a mistake."
"I already made the mistake." she stated, looking into my eyes. "Now I have to deal with it." she smirked, quoting me from earlier.

I gave her a small smile before walking away, my brothers following me

"What was that about?" Joe asked, confused.
"Just something I said earlier." I replied.

I tried to get my mind away from everything that happened, but I couldn't. Riley occupied my mind even more than before. Maybe I should give her freedom. Let her date Carl and realise how much she misses me. Maybe she could fall in love with this jerk and I'll never have her again. No matter how much she hurt me, I'll always love her, just like she loves me. First loves always last the longest and I got the love bug bad for Riley. I'll never forget her, but I can try.
