An update on everything going on. Its been 1 month since being diagnosed with underactive thyroid and its been tough. Luckily things will look up. After researching and making changes to my diet I am hopeful things will get better soon.

  • I've just noticed there have been no new vids from you since you've moved back to the UK. I hope you're OK. Please post a new vid soon and let us know what's happening. And, if your new doctors haven't already suggested the possibility of a gluten sensitivity/intolerance/celiac disease, please follow up on that. I have celiac disease, and so many of your symptoms were mine as well. At least google it and learn more about it, and I think you will see yourself in some of the symptoms.

  • thank so you so much for your comment, we are about to start a low gluten to no gluten diet and see if that helps :)

  • try how much synthoid do u take?? im also a thyroid patient i have had my thyroid taken out lastyear and till now imstillnotfeeling well.. right now im feeling hyper symptoms with tsh level of 2.390 just got my resultlastnight.. and till now im still crappy.. watch my video and lets share okay.. ;-) mwahhzz!1

  • I take 50 mcg and currently switching over to levo since its cheaper here in the UK (I dont pay for anything in the UK but try to go with the cheaper options if I can)

  • Hey, I was dignosed with underactive thyroid last year at this time. It takes awhile to get your meds adjusted to the right dosage. Trust me, it will get better. Always take your meds on an empty stomach and don't eat for an hour after. Also start taking a multi at night. My hair is finally growing back and my energy is coming back. I wish you all the best!

  • thank you so much for the encouragement

  • Thank you for your videos. I am living with the same problem, and you have been quite helpful with your insights. Matt from Minnesota

  • im 15. at 13 years old i was diagnosed with underactive thyroid i expirenced most of your symptoms i ABSOLUTELY HATED takng my medicine every single day i still have yet to find my right dosage of Levo i do take my medicine though. its hard dealing with it. even at my young age i am a very extremely independent person so having to live off of medicine everyday sucks but if i dont take my medicine, according to my doctor i wont live a long happy life it could be cut short. or be long and misrable

  • This video was very interesting for me because yesterday I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism but you mentioned a lot of pain in the back of your head and neck and I have been experiencing that the past few days. I'm wondering if I should talk to my doctor because other than a rapid heart rate I don't seem to have any other symptoms of hyperthyroidism but more of hypothyroidism. Just wondering if you have any advice because I'm 21 and I feel like I'm way too young to be having medical problems.

  • Maybe your doctor should look after "Hashimoto"? That was the reason for my underactive thyroid, and it was so bad that I was not able to do my daily work and anything else. Furthermore I got Zöliakie/Sprue and needed B12 (sorry my English is not the best, I am from Germany). I read that the most Hashimoto diseases are found in North America. That makes me think if a reason could maybe be the nutrition? By the way, there is much more Gluten in Bread and Food than it was Decades ago. Best wishes!

  • Hey ,dear, i heard about your problems , and do feel your pain, i am also taking 150mg synthyroid tabs for hypothyroidism, i am a man and was recently aware of my conditions . but i am going through much different pains too, but i am trying my best , anyway hang-in there and your meds will work for you , good luck.

  • Also make sure you are not B12 deficient which happens often with hypothyroid. Always take your synthroid on an empty stomach.

  • trust me i really no the feeling, after a while you start to feel like a nut case mentelly. i wish you the best of luck. you have your good an bad days with it. but you cant give fight back with it. i have to. oh yea keep your stress level down and stay away from stinulates caffenine etc
