I never knew Lentils took that long to cook!!!!??? At least 5 hours?????????

@whole27 The foods cooked in the slow cooker take much longer to cook than foods cooked on the stovetop or oven. To make this soup quicker, simply put all ingredients in a big soup pot, cover, and simmer till lentils are tender--maybe about 1/2 hour or so.
