This is infinitely better than call of duty's zombies. The skulls keep the game mixed up and the maps are nice and big. Plus you dont die from getting hit 2 to 6 times -__- It just pisses me off how people compare this to horde on GOW or Cod WaW Zombies. Ive played this, and trust me, its wayyyy better than all of them.

Firefight cant even compare to Nazi zombies its way different besides its more likes gears horde mode but then again gears did not come up with the survival mode did it it just made it popular.

not at all. Bungie just wanted one more project before they're contract with microsoft went up, so they made a prelude to Halo 3

Actually, all of those idea came from Marathon, one of Bungie's older games, so it is originally from Marathon.
