How awesome! I'm getting ready to (student teach) a class on perimeter and area and I think the kids will love using google earth to show some "real world" examples. Thanks for sharing!

I don't have measure listed under tools. Any idea why? I downlaoded it yesterday.

Go to TOOLS and select RULER. Then choose the LINE tab to measure from point A to point B. Or, select the PATH tab to measure Point A, B, C, etc.
You can also select SHOW RULER on the main Google Earth interface. It is the ruler icon to the right of the planet. Good luck!
