Any agency or legeslative body which bans these while leaving traditional cigarettes legal is not doing so for health reasons.

I am a non-smoker and I am behind this product. The e-cig allows the smoker to get his fix of nicotine while allowing me to NOT smoke. E-cigs produce no second-hand smoke! For that reason alone, it is something non-smokers should champion.

Yes, it is best to not smoke (or vape) at all. It is best not to have a nicotine addiction. But this is second-best.

@BronxBeauty8 There's too much money in both sides of tobacco cigarettes. As shown here, even the ALA is against them. if people found a much safer alternative to smoking, they'd lose the main reason for the organization and its funding.

I dont understand the ecig bans. why ban something thats a better substitute for smoking? are they planning on banning smoking cessation patches and gums as well? what about the smoking cessation pill that was approved by the FDA and was found to raise the users risk for suicide? how is THAT still legal?

One thing not quite made clear in this report - there is NO SMOKING involved in these.

Obviously, i 'get' they are trying to use a term that is easily understood but it hurts the cause when seekers might think this is 'smoking'. It is NOT SMOKING. There is NO SMOKE.

It is vapor. When you exhale on a cold day it is not 'smoking'. The steam from your hot coffee is not smoke.

This is vapor. not smoke. No smoke is inhaled or exhaled.
