Butler County Lifeguards to be Honored by American Red Cross at Heroes Breakfast

What was expected to be a typical work day for a team lifeguards quickly turned into an emergency response situation when six-year-old Jared Chantz hit his head while jumping off of the diving board at Alameda pool in Butler, Pa. The well-prepared lifeguard team quickly jumped into action, using their training and abilities to save a young life.
