I'll be redoing this in better quality once DH 2 appears on DVD ... and I'll probably muck around with it a bit more then, but I just needed to get this out for now. I wanted to focus on the fact that their relationship is rather love/hate, though the hate part would have worked better if certains scenes hadn't been cut. :D

@FiryClaw I totally agree. I feel like if I hadn't read the book I wouldn't have known what was going on. I think they needed to add more scenes of Lily/Snape as kids and teenagers. But yes, Alan Rickman still made it amazing. I think he deserves an Oscar for his performance :)

I can just agree with everybody, I missed the mudblood scene in the movie =( Although I pitied Severus even more in the movie, because it was just unfair and he hadn't even done something wrong. I guess the book Lily is much more sympathic and understandable...

@Merope16 Thank you so much, I'm glad you like it! And yes, I wish they'd left it in! I don't like Lily in the books, but at least I understand why she did what she did when reading the book - her reasons aren't at all clear in the movie.

Yes! I like that you've done the whole hate thing, that really was a shame that they cut that, it seemed that she just chose James, and it was all a bit senseless. Especially annoyed that they left out the 'Mudblood' scene, I really can't see why they did at all :/ Same with her criticising his friends. Brilliant! :)
