i was gutted when Smudge left us
especially to the scum but it wasnt up to him..they offered us the most cash for him and theres no chance we wearnt gonna take it when we in so much debt

Ya, I am from the US, and have followed Arsenal for a few years now, but I have yet to make a trip to England, or Europe for that matter, and see a match. I also don't like the corporate sponsorship, but I don't mind the flipping of the cannon (although I might if I had been a fan for a few years earlier). I wish Emirates was just called "New Highbury", or "The New Home of Football". I don't know, something other than Emirates. Give it a decade, Emirates will have an atmosphere one day. Peace.

Thanks mate, don't know if you knew, but Johnny (Rotten) Lydon is a true Gooner, and on the Pistols dvd released last year he was interviewed outside the Emirates stadium and he was freaking out, about the plastic sign, and the corporate sponsorship, and how the cannon had been turned around. John grew up near Islington, well worth a look as he goes around London talking about it. It's called "There'll Always be An England" , just click on the tour menu and enjoy.

Arsenal Fan here, and I respect the hell out of Leeds, you lot have stellar support, you are truly in a league of your own in that department (Arsenal Fans are only heard on the road, the atmosphere just isn't in the Emirates yet). Anyways, it was not those players' fault that they left Leeds, you guys got really unlucky, missing Champions League by a single point, then burying you lot in debt. I am truly sorry that happened, Leeds are one of the all time best. Hope to see you at the top soon.
