I'm dreaming of a muliticultural winter holiday celebration
To redress centuries of the imposition of Christo-European traditions
Where Arboreal-Americans reflect light equally
And those persons between embryosis and pubescence listen
To hear sleighbells in the snow
(Without feeling superior to or infringing upon the rights of the community of the hearing-impaired)
I'm dreaming of a muliticultural winter holiday celebration
With every inclusive communication that I write
(On recycled paper using soy-based ink)
May your days
(Or nights because both dark and light have positive and negative aspects)
Be merry
(If it wouldn't suppress your feelings)
And bright
And may all your muliticultural winter holiday celebrations
(Without regard to race, creed, color, national origin, sexual orientation, or gender)
Be empowering
(If that' s your desire because I wouldn't want to impose my values upon you)
