@MrDencio73 : The connector was pretty bad and had dirt and grim on it it but i did not replace it.. I thought it was just gonna fall apart when unplugging it but it didn't. When it was all said and done i just cleaned it as best as i could.
The check engine light did come back on after a few months but it was for a 02 sensor and was not evap related .. after replacing the 02 sensor i have had no problem and the evap canister control valve is still working fine ..
Yes..light stayed off for a few months then it came back on. Ive yet to check the code again cause ive been busy but the same piece could be the culprit.. it stayed off long enough for me to smog.. At the time that was my worry.
hmmm...i had my out and it is in open position, when apply 12 V the plunger will close the valve, The way you are describing it sounds that yours is in closed position?
