have you ever heard claire de lune? if that is scientific, then i have never heard a more meaningful and soothing scientific art masterpiece.

The beginning is extremely boring and i didn't quite enjoy how you interpreted this piece, surely you could of put a little bit of more passion and shape into the music to turn it a bit more joyful? xxx

the beginning does sound a little choppy, and just too damn slow haha, i've been practicing this piece (and others) for like the past 3 months (trying to perfect this piece), and i've noticed not many dynamics at all in your playing, needs more rubato in it, ands needs to sound more freely.....but i'm sure after 4-5 years, it's better (:
overall, thanks for sharing, it really relaxes the brain, just speed it up a little, add more rubato, and this piece will be perfect

Where'd you get the music for this piece?? I've been looking for it EVERYWHERE and I can't find it!!!! :(
You did very well though. Especially for a first year!! FABULOUS!!

i don't really like how you interpreted this piece. the beginning sounded choppy and i'm not sure what mood you were trying to convey overall.

That's what happens when a theory/comp major plays an instrument.

i just started playing this. I think it's definitely possible to play with ample analyzation beforehand. I find it rather difficult of course since I;m still in grade 7 piano.

I think analysis is crucial with a piece like this! It's so lush and colorful a good understanding is invaluable; it's best to play without HAVING to look at the music to be as expressive as possible (of which I'm not a great example).
I think the analysis is especially important because the music looks more difficult than the structures and harmonies are in reality.
