I'm glad these nets are cutting down on the lobster population. Research shows that these dangerous animals are quickly invading the Midwest and we will soon find them living in our swimming pools.

@LOBSPERT You are not alone. In the USA our politicians are equally as corrupt and out of touch with the People's will. The politicials are a bunch of idiot-elitist out to expand their control over us at any cost. They make nets to catch scummy politicians? Society would be better off with a thousand corrupt politicians where that lobster is. Peace.

Radioactive or no arms?

@wizwow77 Thank you, Wiz.
Too bad that Lobspert (Derek?) is too stupid to explain what a ghost net is in the place that it should be explained.

@happysomeday09 why dont you tell him to also look up the canadian department of fisheries and oceans(DFO) regulations that state it is illegal to kill baby seals.and has been for over twenty years...at one time the seal hunt was extremely cruel and was not regulated very well..it since has been..but animal rights groups continue to collect millions in donations every year so they now rely on propaganda to support their cause...look up some videos of pig and lamb slaughtering..double standard.

@ledhead1000 In Canada our gov't officials are corporate puppets too corrupt to recognise destructive fishing gears or ocean habitat destruction. Great tip however!

wow GeorgieZillaFan u are the first person i have heard mention pollution when it comes to fishing discussions, good job. but i know u hav not done ur own research on fish and animal populations. just going by what u hav heard and what people want u to believe. if lobspert cares so much for the environment i wonder did he clean up the net. probably not. not mine i ain't cleaning it up. yes lost nets do kill. but only one lobster. doesn't seem like massive destruction two me.

If I could of I would of and its from the The States anyway. Gillnets are cruel and inhumane and we all should be ashamed that we continue this hideous practice. Shame!
