This is for all those of you who have been kind enough to enquire after me, my wellbeing and my whereabouts. Thank you for your concern.
I am not yet back in a position where I can create videos and post regularly and frequently, but things are looking positive for the future and I hope to be back amongst the ukelele community soon.
In the meantime, I have managed to cobble together a little piece featuring a few members of the aforementioned ukulele community.
If you are not featured, please do not be offended - I only had five verses to play with.
If you ARE featured, please do not be offended - But I did have FIVE verses to fill afterall, and I had to pick someone!
If you are tickled by my feeble attempt at a humourous 'thanks', then you have caught the ball I threw - congratulations.
Enjoy
Check out the channels of those featured in this song for some ukeing good tunes:
Russbuss http://www.youtube.com/user/russbuss415
He has the looks, the voice and the style - Laid back, West Coast, ukulele coooool. He has a leaning for the nineties and a touch of the classics. Oh, and hats!
Krabbers http://www.youtube.com/user/krabbers
Classic tunes, original songs, live sets from the pub, and a great sense of humour. You want your uke fix a little left field and just a bit rockin? Then check this channel. Oh, yeah - there's hats here too!
Ken Middleton http://www.youtube.com/user/KenMiddletonUkulele
You want organised? This man has a channel for every compartment of his Youtube life. One thing you can be certain of is great music that is very well arranged and played - not so much with the headgear, though. Still, you can't have everything.
BaronK69 http://www.youtube.com/user/BaronK69
A song and a scowl. A swede with a uke and a growl. OK, I'm not selling him too well but he's really fantastic - honest! Again, not so much with the hats, but he is very big in the facial (not cranial) hair department.
Shas http://www.youtube.com/user/shas1814
What can I say? The sage of the Youtube ukers. The man for whom the phrase, "What a nice guy" was invented. You want some words of wisdom and thoughts to ponder with your uke-backed tunes? PLUS, facial AND cranial hair!
