Texturing the face of a SecondLife avatar using DeepPaint3D

- Note: What you see here actually took about four hours, not five minutes. It's just time shifted to match the audio. Actually, it takes 40-60 hours to texture the entire avatar; that also includes digital hair removal etc. -

Here's how I'm texturing the face of an SL avatar (I've already half finished the texturing of the body) using DeepPaint3D and the 'Gabi' photo references by 3d.sk, available at http://www.3d.sk/?a_aid=4df84cbec866f
I do recommend watching this full screen, and in HD.
Since it's so fast, it probably doesn't work as a tutorial; but just so you see how it's done.

As you can see, I'm piecing the entire head up from many image pieces, which is why my work definitely doesn't look like anyone else's who uses the same photo references.

I'm just mentioning that since one person, who bought one of my skin resource packs on XStreet and then resold it as a resource pack, claiming that 'hers just looks precisely like mine because she used the same photo references'.
Yeah sure.
Go ahead, girl; you claim to also own the Gabi photo reference - now go and make a video how you use THAT to create your 'own resource pack', which will then pixel by pixel look like mine just because you 'used the very same photo reference'. And, no, I haven't given up on it; I'm still saving up for the lawyer who'll take the lawsuit.

Will this actually look like you when you put it in world though?

I mean after you adjust the shape, would it be possible to make it highly resemble you after all the changes you've made to it.

@MiJaEllis Well, it would look like "me" if the reference photos I used would actually be of "me (which isn't the case; these are reference photos by 3d.sk, as described in the notes) *and* if I would have at least vaguely adjusted the shape and features to look like 'me' (which is actually possible in Blender).

However this here was just a demonstration as to how a character can be photosourced to the SL avatar; so no inworld likeliness intended from the start ;-)

Besides, it's not 'my' vagina & boobs. It's the texturing result of the photos of the model from 3d.sk which I've used to texture this skin.

Referring to what's written in your description, it's scary to know that you have to hire a lawyer to get the person who copied your skin in trouble. I figured a SL staff could cancel the theft's account and bill her for the money she costed you or something. x.x Scary
