I do think Darcy did try in the end, and he did honestly look up to and respect Susan. He did a good thing for her. Izzy deserves all she gets and I hope something good came from what Darcy did. As always Susan is the best character on the show.

Didn't the script used to be so much more powerful? I watch it now and I am so bored and underwhelmed. Neighbours used to tell real, emotional stories about relationships, betrayal, adolescence, family. Now its all about disputes, crime and violence. As a child I loved this, but I refuse to be loyal when its turned out to be so shit.
