First of all, there are other rappers from the hood who represent the hood much better than Nas. Don't get it twisted: Nas is NOT hood. Do you really think Nas is still in the hood? No, he is not. However, there are a slew of rappers who still reside in the hood and represent the people therein. And, if they don't still live in the hood, they at least have lived in the hood much longer than Nas ever did. Remember: Nas blew up in the early 90's when he was still a teeny bopper. Nas is fake.
