This is a video from a DARPA grand challenge testing meet. The competition's aim is to advance the technology of driverless cars, sponsored by the US Department of Defence.

The machines which compete in these competitions comprise of hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of technology and man hours.

Understandably the team is distraught with the damage sustained to their vehicle in this video.
