if you read and study enough about dog behavior, you will know that the dog gave the reporter enough warnings. a dog cannot talk so it warns you by flicking up his tongue like you can see MANY times in the video, this is telling you that the dog is not comfortable and doesn't like what you are doing. the last warning is that a dog will try to turn away. sticking your face in closer like the reporter does caused the dog to snap. please remember these signs the next time you meet a new dog.

Wouldn't it be nice if Police officers and their dogs were held to the same level of responsibility as citizens? If your dog bites people, then don't let people pet the dog and keep the dog away from people,.. if the dog still attacks people,..kill it. If a Police officer who is supposed to keep citizens safe can't control his dog then we have a 'team' of potential killers on the street 'for our safety'. Where did the cop take his dog next,..to a grade school "pet the killer dog kids".

Animals trained to defend the public should not harm the public. Police officers trained to handle the animals should know what will cause their mindless idiot intimidation tools to attack people and should not let the dogs bite. For those that don't understand you know those of you that think you need public officials observing you wipe your ass for your 'safety', here's a tip. If those people who are employed to keep you safe cannot do so or do not know how to do so then they must be fired.
