On 1 July 2010 the Center for Auto Safety (CAS) conducted a crash test on a 1993 thru 1998 vintage ZJ-Body Jeep Grand Cherokee (JGC) under the 2006 FMVSS-301 NHTSA fuel system crashworthness standard. The bright silvery substance seen exiting the rear of the JGC near the fuel door upon impact is stoddard; a substance that very closely approximates gasoline, except the latter's flammability/explosiveness. Multiple/complete fuel system integrity breaches/failures occcurred during this CAS test.

@UBConquered Not this year. I had a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. I taken it off road and no flex to speak of. They don't have a frame. Well kinda but not entirely. It is a box frame welded onto a unibody. Known for tensile strength for going offroad. I have a Commander now and more Jeeps to come.
