Hi... How do I get a copy of the book ??

best demo vid. plain and simple

@strodden By the way I have been turning a lot more than a quarter turn and nothing seems to be happening. My guitar tech has never mentioned any problems with the truss rod before so I have no reason to believe it's been damaged in any way...

OK I have tried adjusting the truss rod but CANNOT get the string to touch the feeler gauge at the 7th fret. It's just too high. I have an American Deluxe strat. Can anyone advise me here?

@TuPadreCubano the intonation you mean. if so yes all 6 strings need to have the intonation set. if you mean truss rod adjustment i check the 1st string at 12th and 6th string at 12th get it to 10 thou.

@who8allthepies hey do u have to do that to each of te 6 strings?

MOST HUMANS ONLY HAVE TWO!!!! :D
John, when following this part of the tutorial, I wanted to tight the truss rod. When i did it, was kinda not wanting to go, I loose the strings, push a bit harder and it sound kinda loud when i could turn it a bit... (I turned less than 1/4 clockwise) so I preffered to stop rather than thighten more...
The guitar hasn't damaged, but I do want to tight it a bit more, what can i do?
Oh and all ur tutorials are fkin great!

@HendrixSpirit I wish John Carruthers worked for us, but he has his own very well established business. You could contact him from his website carruthersguitars, or try talking to a repair shop for some professional advice. Best of luck!
