@DogooChan i don't think its even possible to call any music outdated. People who judge music saying it sucks or calling it outdated is plainly stupid. Everyone has their own opinion of what is good and what is bad. Forcing their opinion on others is stupid. Music cannot be judged although... with our current society... everything is judged.

@xxxoooxxxmcr It's AKB48's 1st Major label single, so it's pretty well known, but I wouldn't say it's THAT popular anymore, even among AKB fans. It didn't even rank in AKB's Request Hour Setlist Best 100 2012.
My point was, you can't judge whether J-pop is currently "outdated" compared to other music, based on a single song released over 5 years ago.
