Every time I see that scene it gives me chills. And the horible reality is that such a thing might happen in the future, our beautiful home is likely to be destroyed by a hostile alien race who hates us.
Probably an alien race who saw our mind numbing reality TV shows and decides that to save the universe from a species that can be so stupid as to create such rubbish has to be wiped out to spare the intellect of other races.
