The power was supplied by a Vortex 28/30/12, brushless direct drive, far too powerful really for the model and turning a GWS 11 x 4.7 (cut down to 9.5") prop. Eventually the power caused the failure of the firewall.
Have now changed to a 180 watt Tower-Pro bell motor 2408/18 with a GWS 8 x 6 prop. If more power is required I suggest the Turnigy C2409-1200. I use a 3-cell 1000mAh 15C lipo which is being changed to 25C as the 15C battery power is marginal when using full power.
What power train are you using? I managed to strip the gears on the brushed motor and then converted to brushless. Troubles with synthesised corona receiver and bad weather has limited opps for flying. The flight looked impressive. Im still getting used to power as most of the time i slope soar
