  • The power was supplied by a Vortex 28/30/12, brushless direct drive, far too powerful really for the model and turning a GWS 11 x 4.7 (cut down to 9.5") prop. Eventually the power caused the failure of the firewall.

Have now changed to a 180 watt Tower-Pro bell motor 2408/18 with a GWS 8 x 6 prop. If more power is required I suggest the Turnigy C2409-1200. I use a 3-cell 1000mAh 15C lipo which is being changed to 25C as the 15C battery power is marginal when using full power.
