This is silly, you can't take people like Warren and just pretend they don't exist.
Obama's position on gay rights is and has been clear, if Thor the God of Thunder gave his invocation it wouldn't suddenly mean that he was in favor of hitting people with a giant hammer, cmon people.

The far left isn't the only side compromising. The far right doesn't like Rick Warren speaking at pro-choice Obama's inaugural. With all of the uproar in the media coming from the far left, we can tell who runs the media...no, not the far left..but gays

John Harwood is right. There is afoot in this country a younger evangelical mindset that wants to spend more time on more pressing issues like global poverty and saving th planet than standing outside women's health clinics yellingat teenage girls and condemning gay people to hell. Rick Warren is a part of that movement but is also part of a breed of an slowly dying anti-abortion anti-gay stance that has really (if you think of any real political impact) has failed the religious right.

you hate the thought of the gay lifestyle. i use to feel that way but i learned it nothing to worry about. so why don't you just be straight. no one is forcing you to be gay so why don't you be straight and problem solved. may you have a baby who turns out gay so you can learn that life isn't about your sexual orientation. get over it.
