A view of the bifurcated coronary artery with a 12.5 MHz probe and also shows how the image intensity/contrast and gain may be changed after image acquisition. The scan starts with viewing the artery as a cross section and then the probe is rotated to scan up and down the artery.

  • I'll post some new images in a bit. I have longitudinal images, as well. The newer videos/phones, give more impressive images, actually.

  • Why is it described as a view of bifurcated coronary arteries? Aren't those the common cartoid?

  • Is color doppler available yet?

  • Very impressive...but I'd like to see more of a mid to distal view of the internal carotid artery inthe longitudinal plane. Love to try the device out. I'm a physician's assistant and registered vascular technologist on the east coast.
