@katszrule123 Her name was Rosalia Lombardo, who died of pneumonia. She is Sicilian and is preserved in Capuchin Catacombs of Palermo, Italy. Alfredo Salafia was the taxidermist who performed the taxidermy. He injected her body with: formalin, zinc salts, alcohol, salicylic acid, and glycerin. All this to keep her the way she is today.

wow, they put amulets because they dont want the mummies to be disturbed and that woman unwrapped it outside her tent like it was just a Christmas gift.... how sad, anthropologist huh
