a way to save the animals is buy from shelters you trust i got my cat from a good shelter and she is still alive that shelter has saved many cats lives before i saw a kitten missing its eye but it was still soooooooo strong

Shelter killing is the most common cause of death for healthy cats and dogs in America! Don't donate to them. Instead, donate to rescues that DON'T KILL ANIMALS! Then, contact ALL your elected officials in your state, and DEMAND A NO KILL STATE! It's the only way to stop the senseless murders. Please don't donate money to ANY KILL SHELTERS. By doing so, you are allowing the killing of innocent animals to continue. Instead, donate to the rescues that pull these animals; the ones that don't kill any of them. If you want to adopt from kill shelters, that's fine; adopt. But, don't send them money, ever. Naturally, blankets, beds, and food are a great way to actually help the animals in the kill shelters feel more comfortable.
