there's nothing wrong with the word "retarded" it's just means delayed. americans love to take words with understandable latin roots and make all about ONE thing. like the word scripture to mean bible or the word molest to be child abuse.... no no no these words don't mean just that.

I too was moved. I have a form of Spina Bifida, which is a physical disability and not an intellectual one, but I can still identify with and be especially moved by what he said and HOW he said it. "Cowardice" is the perfect word to describe the attitudes of people who choose to make fun of the disabled (mentally or physically).
