A bad day for the Italians: First this Ducati, later an Aprilia 750.
You are the experts, you can suggest reasons for this particular low side....
Amazingly, very little (cosmetic) damage to the bike. Rider received a severe whack to the back of his head from the guard rail.....but both rider & bike were able to proceed 20 minutes later.
Nice big support group from his Duke co-riders.

You are 100% correct: too fast for the conditions on that day. He ( and the 5 others who crashed on the same day) didn't check out the road before riding fast....

@BBoyXy Most sport bike riders here do as you suggest, plus they drag their knee nicely too, though it isn't always necessary. They're on my vid called "team colors".

All the slides could have been avoided by recon both ways, then doing a couple of passes at higher speeds.

These guys just go from A to B without recon.
