i was born and raised in Texas and left, with my broken heart in 1987, with my new husband, heading for his native Minneapolis. Still here, 2012, but there is no place like Texas that means as much to my heart. I don't miss the heat and the racists and the rednecks, but will always wish I could come home, at least part of the year.
