Here's my submission for "Calling All of the Pit's Musicians V6.0", playing Addicted to That Rush by Mr. Big. If you are unfamiliar with how this competition works, we get a deadline (in this case December 25th) to learn a new song, classify it (this is advanced - guitar), and upload a cover. This is my submission after 5 days of playing this song. I actually recorded it in Sonar, but there was a severe latency problem I just didn't want to deal with, so I went with the camera audio (which is not the best, I wish I could've used my recording). The backing track is from the Guitar Pro tab from Ultimate-Guitar.com. I have to thank MatrixClaw from UG who helped me through my many issues with that track, he made it sound decent, and anybody who had to listen to my amp cranked way high when I had to record twice, forgetting to actually press record it the first time. I'm pretty happy with the playing (especially for learning it in 3 days), not with the video and audio so much, but it's bearable.
Yes, that is duct tape on my guitar, and no, it's not attached directly to the body, the finish is fine.

awesome! especially for the time frame in which you learned the song. Super close to the original. I was wondering if that was your duct taped guitar and sure enough, around 1:30 or so, it was confirmed so plus for that. just for your FYI mom was amazed.
