I hate to see someone dig a grave when just a simple three-sided, flip-over, plug would work just as well. You "big hole diggers' are the ones who are ruining the hobby for the rest of us. Even an "aggressive Rambo" should use a little common sense.

your plug was abit large :) lol i received the garret pinpointer for my bday in feb. at first i thought it was to sensitive but then i read the "destructions" and she (the pinpointer) and i are the best of friends, has really helped me cut down on diggin time, it's priceless!

Try cutting a three sided plug, and just flip the plug back. That way the grass stays alive, and we do not have yellow spots dotting the yard. Also use a drop cloth, so it does not look like gophers had a party in the yard. It makes us all look good, when we keep the site clean. Good luck on your finds my friend, and happy hunting!

Such a huge hole for what turns out to be a small item. Why didn't you go over the spoil again, Rambo, because to me your T2 was saying that you had a double signal. You could have done the same task using only your T2 in my opinion.
