In Sao Paulo, kidnapping is an established business - lucrative and hectic. For four years a film crew followed the police department's anti-kidnapping division (DAS), riding along to locate houses holding captives, listening in on phone calls, freeing horrified victims and busting criminals. Raw, powerful and with incredible access, this edgy documentary confronts one of the biggest problems that Brazil faces in startling HD.

  • @600trillion wow you're ignorant. Which country has legalised guns and therefore has no violent confrontation between citizen and criminal? Do you know the answer? The answer is no country. When you legalise guns, in most cases you still require official licensing so the black market persists, you also make it easier for everyone to have a gun, including criminals. Someone who resorts to calling a stranger a pussy online isn't worth the time, but nevermind.

  • @TwoTube2 if people in britian had guns they're would have been no vandalism.

when you legalize guns, you get rid of the black market, and put them in the hands of law abiding citizens. same thing with drug legalization.

You sir, are a pussy, and as a pussy, you don't undestand the threat of force. the threat of an armed citizen keeps the criminal away with no confrontation. it's because they know the citizens were unarmed they ransacked the place. and dead looters get no tears anyway

  • @600trillion if people in Britain had guns during the riots, don't you think rather than just homes and businesses being burnt down, you'd have a lot of dead bodies on the streets? Sure, people would be able to whip out a pistol and wave it around at the groups of people looting and vandalising, but that'd inevitably lead to the groups of people looting and vandalising pulling out weapons too, which would lead to armed police, and more violence. It wouldn't solve anything!

  • this is about kidnapping for ransom in Brazil, thank's to the country's ridiculous penal code, that releases all sorts of criminals just a few years after they're caught.

  • This looks very good. I would watch this if you posted it on youtube. Please put up more complete videos and monetize via advertising! Thx.

  • @600trillion It's not socialism that sucks, it's mismanaged government and corrupt politicians that suck.

  • Guess who the US is going to war with next. English sponsored. Thats what these documentaries are for. Its still not right to kidnap but the North Hemisphere has run out of countries to fight with. They are after Venezuela's oil so a cause must be invented, a sentiment gathered, a war manufactured. This is how it works. US could give a fuck less about S. America's people.

  • @klowdz1 NO HE OFFERS MORE INSIGHT THAN THAT and helps you understand what and why this happens

  • @fortyaider just watched britian burn for 4 days, homes and business aflame because people couldn't defend themselves. also in europe it's a socialist system so the public pays the drug addicts to stay at home. not a system i'd like to support. rather not pay hi ass taxes to pay of criminals and blow their brains out if they start breaking my windows. europe is fucking bankrup, socialism sucks.

  • @600trillion This about brazil you idiot and guns don't solve nothing. The only reason criminals in mexico have easy access to guns is because of it's close proximitiy to the usa. Look at europe, guns are illegal and it has one of the lowest gun homicide rates.
