I don't know. The physics of vacuum and mass in so-called void are only just being measured and the nature of e.f. currents in space have not been fleshed anywhere near completely. The introduction of optically undetected bodies to explain perturbations in man-made satellite motion seems to be a distal rather than proximal solution, but shouldn't be rejected entirely, of course..

@rgoertzen1 oh they fixed that! My ex-wifes bitching put it back to normal.

I think you watch and listen to much science fiction... dreamer!!

I havent seen any scary pop up face vids lately...... im beginning to get worried....

@SlackerSlayer It's okay to be stupid, it's even okay to be ignorant, but for fuck's sake, do you have to be an arrogant cunt as well?

This is Hooey! It would be every cosmologists dream to find another major planet or companion star in our solar system. The effects of another star in close proximity with our solar system would cause major gravitational perturbations...the effect would not only be noticeable....it would likely be catastrophic!
-
@SlackerSlayer You really ought not to let your ignorance of physics embarrass you like this. It's an established fact that photons carry momentum. We see the effect in satellites all the time; sunlight pushes them away from the sun. All objects above absolute 0 emit blackbody thermal radiation consisting of photons, usually infrared. Like all photons, they carry momentum too. Hence Pioneer's nonsymmetrical heat radiation generates a very small but nonzero thrust.

@ApolloWasReal Their excuse for why the Pioneer is not where it should be is hilarious. So the heat is expanding what exactly out there in the deep nothingness?? WHAT is in the box to warm up and expand enough to provide "thrust" and how does it get replenished?? (ROTFLMAO) Strange how they actually released that garbage as science. I suppose desperation can get ones mind stuck in a trap it can't get out of. Like the liars dilemma.
The Pioneer "anomaly" was resolved at least a year ago. It's the thermal radiation pressure of the RTGs (radioisotope thermal generators) reflecting off the back of the parabolic antenna. Since the antenna is always pointed toward the earth and sun, the force is sunward.

@ApolloWasReal Hey do you have a link to that

@lovuian YT censors URLs but you can read the Wikipedia article as well as the Planetary Society website.

@ApolloWasReal Hey I believe the thermal radiation pressure of the RTG's is one explanation but there are also othersCosmological effects due to the rotation of the Universe. I believe a paper is coming out on that to this year.
