MF: Grand Maximus (First Transform)

From: God Ginrai - Showdown on the Surface of the Moon

The big arrival of Grand Maximus. Grand has previously visited Earth, and has also sent communiqués to the Autobots. Here, he arrives to help out God Ginrai who is outnumbered and outgunned by the combined attacks of Overlord and BlackZarak.

Wasting no time, Grand merges with the spaceship to become Grand Maximus, and take on BlackZarak, making it Battle of the Headmaster Redecos.

A word on Grand Maximus. Unlike BlackZarak, who is an evolution of the Scorponok character, Grand is a different character - apparently Fortress' "brother" (who has never before been mentioned), although this isn't actually established until after the series is over. Being a redeco of Fortress, Grand is a Headmaster, however since this is Masterforce, the mid-sized robot, Grand (aka Cerebros in the US) is now a Pretender, and it is the human-like Pretender form that we have seen up until now. So he's a Pretender Headmaster Citybot. A complicated figure with a complicated story.

Are Fortress Maximus and Grand Maximus have the same body shape but just diffrent colour

@BAOVANNAM123 Grand Maximus is a redeco/remold of the Fortress Maximus figure, yes. They added a Pretender shell for Grand, the mid-size robot (previously Cerebros/Fortress). In terms of fiction, Grand Maximus is Fortress Maximus' "brother", however that works.

I'm a bit confuse here. Isn't Grand Maximus smaller that Fortress Maximus, only as small as gestalt combiner King Poseidon?

@ricemazter In Japan, the Autobots were called "Cybertrons", and the Decepticons were called "Destrons". Destron also applied to Predacons, I think.
